The area offers some lovely walks along the cliffs and through the forests. The beaches are a mix of sand/shingle, with beautifully clear aqua sea for perfect swimming and snorkeling. Through the resort are a number of tourist shops, mini markets, bars and a great selection of tavernas. To sit early evening in one of the beach side tavernas as the sun goes down is a pleasure, a nice cold beer followed by a traditional meal with local wine. A true pleasure.

Kassiopi – North east coast

The beautiful small holiday town of Kassiopi has all the ingredients to make your holiday an enjoyable experience. With high mountains as its backdrop and small sheltered bays it really is a delightful part of Corfu. The beaches are mainly pebbles, the sea a clear aquamarine. Safe swimming and great snorkeling can be enjoyed, with a good choice of tavernas on the beaches to keep you fed and watered.
San Stephanos – North West Coast

Greek food can be enjoyed in many restaurants around the Island. There is something for everybody, with a good choice of meat, fresh fish and many tasty vegetarian options. Even the local Souvlaki snack bar offers a special charm.

Traditional Greek food can be enjoyed in many restaurants all over the delightful island of Corfu. Nothing in life can be more enjoyable than sitting in a simple taverna overlooking the clear calm waters enjoying fresh grilled fish washed down with a local house wine. The first bottle can be a little shaky, it tends to get better from then on. Greek food offers something for everybody, with a good choice of meat, fresh fish and many tasty vegetarian options.

Meze is the traditional way to start a meal. Have a selection of small plates, fried fish, dips and with meat or vegetable selections. If your eating with a group of friends or family this is truly a great way to start the meal. However some people just have a larger selection of Meze and do bother with the main courses.

Main Meals are a mix of fish or meat. Tasty slouvaki [ Kebabs ] can be enjoyed in many restaurants and snack bars. Fresh fish is a joy when grilled over an open BBQ, washed down with some local Greek wines. Meat is also very popular, the lamb is quite delicious when oven backed. There are a number of traditional casseroles and stews that can be found in some of the restaurants offering typical local dishes.

Pastries and desserts for many are the most important part of the meal. Greek desserts are mainly very sweet, with thin layers of pastry soaked in honey [ Baklava ], this is in truth of Turkish origin. Nice with a little ice cream. Sliced fresh fruit can be a nice way to finish a hearty Greek dinner.

International style Restaurants are available in various places throughout this holiday town. Italian Bistro’s, Pizza restaurants and Chinese cuisine can all be enjoyed should you have the need for a change from the Greek taverna.

The island of Corfu has some outstanding beaches. Long sweeps of golden sand and some breathtakingly beautiful small bays with crystal clear sea. We have listed just a few of the beaches that you may wish to check out during your stay on the island.

Paleokastritsa – North east coast

One of the most beautiful parts of the island, Paleokastritsa has six small bays of mainly sand/pebble mix. Clear aquamarine seas that are perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Boats from the beach will take you to visit the nearby caves. This is probably the most photographed area on the island, this must mean something!

Glyfada – East coast

One of the most popular beaches on Corfu. Surrounded by tree covered cliffs, this beautiful beach has a number of beach side tavernas and normal tourist facilities including water sports.

Nissaki – North west coast

Delightful spot, with crystal clear blue green waters. The beach is soft sand broken by rock formations. Good swimming and snorkeling around the rocks. Tourist facilities including a number of local tavernas.

Agios Stefanos

The resort has developed over the past few years into a cosy holiday town with some good quality accommodation. Lovely sandy beach with a few beach tavernas and regular tourist facilities. Water sports and beach beds for hire.

Agni – East Coast

One of the most secluded bays in Corfu. Popular with the boat people, it offers 3 good beach tavernas that feature fresh fish on the menu. The sea props fairly steeply into the sea here, so not so good for non swimmers and children. Beautiful views and real Greek laid back feel.

Gialiskari – West coast

This lovely bay is an ideal day out if your wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of the main holiday beaches. Close to the small village of Sinarades with its typical tavernas. The beach offers some water sport facilities in high summer.

Kalami – North east

The beach here is a mix of pebbles and flat rocks. Looking across the sea to Albania this area has some breathtaking scenery. A small seaside village with some top notch Fish tavernas. Crystal clear sea with safe bathing, the beach offers normal torist facilities including sun bed hire.

Kerasia – North east coast

Delightful cove style beach with smooth pebbles. Lovely clear sea which makes swimming a pleasure. A couple of beach tavernas and sun loungers for rent. Surrounded by wooded hills, lovely spot.

Pelekas – West coast

Beautiful stretch of soft sand. When the wind blows can get a bit wild, however most of the time the sea gently laps the lovely sands. Beach facilities including local tavernas and close to small village of the same name which sits on the cliff above the beach.
